Tanya Lord PhD, MPH became a peer grief supporter shortly after the death of her son, Noah. Inspired by the need for good quality grief information and a desire to reach others who grieve, Tanya and her husband, Glen Lord, founded The Grief Toolbox (www.thegrieftoolbox.com). With over 20 years of experience as a facilitator, trainer and creator of peer grief groups and materials, Tanya knows the value of this type of support. Tanya is currently a Director with Peer Support Community Partners and the Support After a Death from Overdose project funded by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Abuse Services. This project provides peer grief support, training and resources for any impacted by a substance use-related death.
